  • How do I connect a WhatsApp AI chatbot to my business number?

    LayBuild connects to your WhatsApp Business number through the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API. You add the number in the LayBuild dashboard, and the same AI agent and knowledge you use on your website starts answering WhatsApp messages.

  • What does the WhatsApp chatbot answer from?

    From the content you add to LayBuild: uploaded files such as PDF, DOCX, XLSX and CSV, page URLs you list, manual Q&A pairs and pinned documents. If nothing matches the question, the customer gets a fixed reply saying the answer is not in the knowledge base.

  • Can my team reply on WhatsApp when the AI cannot?

    Yes. Agents claim WhatsApp conversations in the LayBuild dashboard and reply from there. You can let customers ask for a person with handoff keywords, which you set and which default to English words.

  • Does the WhatsApp chatbot understand images or voice notes?

    No. LayBuild handles WhatsApp text messages only. When a customer sends an image, audio, voice note or video, they get a fixed notice that media is not supported.
