It answers only from the documents, website pages and FAQs you add. When it can’t find a supported answer, it says so and offers to hand the chat to a person on your team.
Is customer and business data kept private?
Stored API keys and secrets, and the knowledge files you upload, are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. We never use your data to train public AI models.
Does LayBuild AI work on WhatsApp?
Yes. It connects to your WhatsApp Business number through the Meta WhatsApp Cloud API, answers from the same content as your website widget, and your team can take over any chat.
Can a person on my team take over a chat?
Yes. When a customer asks for a person, or the assistant can’t answer, any agent on your team can take over the chat and reply directly.
